Trey Songz has released the lead single, "Heart Attack," from his upcoming fifth album, Chapter 5. On the track, Tremaine shows off his vulnerable side:
"It's killing me, swear I've never cried so much/ 'Cause I never knew love would hurt this f*cking bad/ Worst pain that I ever had."
Trey dropped the Rico Love/Benny Blanco produced track on Monday, March 26; a release date for Chapter 5 has not yet been announced.
According to his producer, Troy Taylor, who spoke with RapUp.com, Songz will be displaying more of his rap skills on the record.
"I took a poll on Twitter to see if people wanted to hear more of Trey rapping and they said it was cool. He was a rapper first when he was 15. When he came to me the whole question was do you think I can be a singer, and when I heard him it was definitely."
