Lionel Richie has released the video for "Endless Love," featuring Shania Twain, from his newly released album, Tuskegee.
The vid features Richie sitting at a piano and singing, while Twain rides a horse on the beach and sings. Later on, as the track crescendos, the pair meet up on the beach and sing together.
The duet originally featured Diana Ross opposite Richie, and Richie told theboot.com that it took the he and Twain some time to gain confidence that they could record the track.
"What I had to do with Shania was just very simple," Richie said. "I said to her, 'We have something in common: we are both scared to death.' She said, 'But you're Lionel Richie!' And I said, 'But you're Shania Twain!' And in the middle of her paranoia, once she heard her own voice on that opening line, she loosened up. Greatness comes from fear. Fear can either shut us down and we go home, or we fight through it."
