Sweden's trade surplus declined to SEK 5.9 billion in February from SEK 10.2 billion in the same period of last year, Statistics Sweden said Tuesday.
On a seasonally adjusted basis, the surplus decreased to SEK 4.3 billion from SEK 5 billion in January.
The value of exports totaled SEK 98.8 billion, unchanged from a year ago. Meanwhile, imports rose 5 percent to SEK 92.9 billion.
Trade with countries outside the EU resulted in a surplus of SEK 13.2 billion, while the EU trade resulted in a deficit of SEK 7.3 billion.
