Lady Gaga was honored over the weekend by the gay and lesbian media group, The Gay and Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation [GLAAD].
Gaga did not attend, but won Outstanding Music Artist for her 2011 effort, Born This Way.
The group honored members of various media outlets including music, television, film, blogs and more.
Big winners at the event, hosted by Glee stars Cory Monteith and Naya Rivera, included Craig Zadan and Neil Meron for their work on the NBC musical series Smash. The pair nabbed the Vito Russo award, which honors the achievements of LGBT professionals.
Dancing with the Stars took home Outstanding Reality Program, the HBO film Cinema Verite got the Outstanding TV Movie or Mini Series award, and Battle Against Bullying from ABC World News with Diane Sawyer got Outstanding TV Journalism Segment.
