Sting has confirmed a handful of new tour dates for his upcoming "Back To Bass" tour. The shows will feature the former Police rocker giving a retrospective of his solo work and Police material with a stripped down rock arrangement.

For the tour, Sting has enlisted his longtime live collaborators Dominic Miller (guitar), David Sancious (keyboards), Vinnie Colaiuta (drums), plus Peter Tickell (electric fiddle) and vocalist Jo Lawry.

Thus far, there are only a handful of live dates confirmed, including St. Louis, Missouri (June 5), Atlanta, Georgia (June 7) and Montreal, Quebec (June 11).

Earlier this year, Sting made headlines when a 2,000-pound meteorite that was formerly on the grounds of his Lake House estate in England's Wiltshire County went on display at the Royal Society in London.
