ANDRITZ Purchases Bricmont From Inductotherm - Quick Facts

ANDRITZ AG (ADRZF.PK) said it has acquired Bricmont Inc. from Inductotherm Group. The purchase price is not disclosed.

According to ANDRITZ, with the acquisition of Bricmont, the company is thus further enlarging its product offerings in furnaces and also strengthening its presence in North America, China, and India.

Gary Doyon, chief executive officer of the Inductotherm Group, commented, "The sale of Bricmont to ANDRITZ focuses Inductotherm on our core strengths in our growing operations in China and India."

With traders taking a breather following the recent upward move by the markets, stocks are turning in a lackluster performance during trading on Wednesday. After moving lower at the open, the major averages have moved back to the upside, but buying interest remains subdued.
