Second quarter non-GAAP EPS is expected to be between $0.16 and $0.43, compared to the consensus estimate of $0.35. The stock is now down 2.07 on 33K shares.
Xyratex climbed for the bulk of the afternoon Thursday and closed up by 0.40 at $17.82, with volume at a 5-month high. The stock broke out of a 2-month range and set a new high for the year.
