Adecoagro S.A.slips To Loss In Q4

Agricultural company Adecoagro S.A. (AGRO: Quote) reported a fourth-quarter net loss of $1.3 million, compared to net income of $44.8 million last year.

Gross sales for the quarter increased 2.9 percent to $151.7 million from last year's $147.4 million.

The company reported full year 2011 net income of $56.9 million, compared to a net loss of $44.8 million the previous year.

Gross sales for the full year 2011 increased 28.6 percent to $548.1 million from $426.3 million an year ago.
