Japan's automobile production logged an annual growth of 19.7 percent in February, data from the Japan Automobile Manufacturers Association showed Friday. February's increase follows 18.6 percent rise in the previous month.
At the same time, motorcycle production advanced 14.5 percent from a year ago to 66,400 units in February.
Domestic sales of automobile rose 29.5 percent annually, while that of motorcycle fell 10.2 percent.
Automobile exports moved up 5.3 percent to 454,449 units. In value terms, exports gained 11.5 percent.
