Inflation expectations of Polish households for the next 12 months were Lower in March compared to February, the National Bank of Poland said on Friday, citing one of its survey.
According to the new outlook, which is based on the balance of responses to a monthly survey, the average consumer price inflation is expected to be 4.2 percent in the next twelve months, lower than February's estimate of 5 percent and 5.2 percent forecast in January.
The number of respondents anticipating the prices to rise more slowly increased in the latest survey compared to the previous survey, while the percentage of the public believing that inflation will rise at a faster rate decreased.
