Neal Schon, Sammy Hagar and Joe Satriani have been announced for the Ronnie Montrose tribute, "A Concert for Ronnie Montrose—a Celebration of His Life in Music," at San Francisco's Regency Ballroom on April 27.
Hagar, one of the original members of Montrose, will perform alongside other former members Denny Carmassi and Bill Church. Joe Satriani will lend a hand on guitar.
Meanwhile, Journey's Schon appears in the Ronnie Montrose All Star Band featuring Styx's Ricky Phillips, KISS' Eric Singer and members of Y&T, Tesla and Mr. Big.
Ronnie Montrose passed away earlier in March prompting a plaintive response from Hagar:
"Ronnie Montrose gave me my first break as a songwriter, as a front man, as a recording artist, as a touring artist, and for that I will always be grateful."
Tickets go on sale Friday, March 30.
