Kinks Classics Made Available For Record Store Day

The Kinks have joined the ranks of bands with Record Store Day's exclusive releases as they will reissue three albums on April 21.

The LPs in question are Arthur (Or the Decline and Fall of the British Empire), Face to Face and Something Else.

The albums are remastered versions of the originals and limited to a run of 500 copies apiece, which are individually numbered and pressed on colored vinyl.

More than 200 groups from all genres and corners of the world will contribute music which will be released exclusively in independent record shops.

British groups in the mix include the Clash (a remastered version of London Calling), the Sex Pistols (a reissue of Anarchy in the U.K.), the Arctic Monkeys (a one-off single, "R U Mine") and Noel Gallagher (an EP, Songs from the Great White North).
