Indonesia's annual inflation increased to 3.97 percent in March from 3.56 percent in February, Statistics Indonesia reported Monday. Nonetheless, the rate of inflation stayed slightly below the consensus forecast of 4.01 percent.
Month-on-month, consumer prices rose 0.07 percent in March.
At the same time, core annual inflation slowed slightly to 4.25 percent from 4.31 percent in February.
