The manufacturing PMI data from France, Italy, Germany and the eurozone have been released in early European trading on Monday and the common currency held steady against its major rivals following the data. As of 4:01 am ET, the euro was quoted at 1.3366 against the US dollar, 0.8340 against the pound, 110.87 versus the yen and 1.2047 against the Swiss franc.
