BET Gospel Celebrates Whitney Houston

BET's annual Gospel Celebration included a special tribute to Whitney Houston. Last year's event was the last televised appearance for the deceased star.

Kelly Price helped honor Houston with a rendition of "Jesus Loves Me," a song Houston sang at Price's pre-Grammy party two days before her passing.

Whitney sang the R. Kelly penned song "I Look to You" in a duet with Kim Burrell at Celebration of Gospel 2011.

Others to appear at the event included Kirk Franklin, Yolanda Adams, Pastor Shirley Caesar, Fred Hammond, Marvin Sapp, the Rance Allen Group, James Fortune & FIYA, LeAndria Johnson, Jessica Reedy, Earnest Pugh, Isaac Carree, Moses Tyson Jr., Ricky Dillard & New G, Zacardi Cortez and Maurette Brown-Clark.

BET's 12th Annual Celebration of Gospel, hosted by Steve Harvey, aired Sunday, April 1; the full show is available for streaming at the network's website.
