While Nikki Haley is seen as a rising star in the Republican Party, the South Carolina Governor has indicated that she would not considering running for Vice President in the upcoming election.
"I'd say, 'Thank you, but no,'" Haley said in an interview with ABC News when asked how she would respond if offered the vice presidential slot.
"I made a promise to the people of this state. And I think that promise matters. And I intend to keep it," she added. "This is what I want to do."
Haley endorsed Mitt Romney ahead of the South Carolina Republican Primary in January, but Newt Gingrich went on to win the primary.
