Spain's unemployment increased again in March, data from the Labor Ministry showed Tuesday.
The number of unemployed increased by 38,769 or 0.82 percent in March from the prior month. The registered unemployment totaled 4.75 million. In February, unemployment rose by 112,269.
In agriculture, unemployment rose 4,882 and climbed by 4,988 in industry. The number of jobless in the construction and service sectors rose by 2,444 and 15,062, respectively.
Spain has the highest jobless rate in the 17-nation currency bloc. The Eurozone unemployment rate increased to a record high of 10.8 percent in February.
