Frisch's Restaurants Q3 Profit Rises - Quick Facts

Frisch's Restaurants Inc. (FRS: Quote) reported that its third-quarter net earnings increased 51.6 percent to $2.81 million from $1.86 million last year, as a result of increased sales, improved margins and a lower effective tax rate. Net earnings increased 54.1 percent to $0.57 per share, from $0.37 per share last year.

Revenue increased 1.4 percent to $68.41 million from $67.49 million in last year's third quarter.

With traders taking a breather following the recent upward move by the markets, stocks are turning in a lackluster performance during trading on Wednesday.
