Sunny Sweeney has given up smoking regular cigarettes in favor of a water vapor-based electric cigarette - and the country starlet told theboot.com that she recommends the device to others.
"I have my little electrical cigarette," she said. "It's water vapor. I'm wearing a patch, too, but I'm a heavy smoker and I have not smoked in months. That electric cigarette has really helped, because for me it's the social aspect, too, not just the nicotine. I would recommend to anyone who wants to quit to try and use those."
Sweeney stopped smoking as a New Year's resolution and thus far has stuck by her pledge. She adds that her husband, Jeff Hellmer, has been supportive.
"In June, we made a resolution," she said. "We were like, 'Let's quit together.'"
Sunny hits the road beginning May 18 with Gary Allan, Rodney Atkins and Josh Thompson on the Country Throwdown tour.
