Green Day has been confirmed as the inductor for Guns n' Roses at the upcoming Rock and Roll Hall of Fame ceremony.
Slash, Duff McKagan, Steven Adler and Matt Sorum have all previously stated that they'll be attending the ceremony; however, Axl Rose, Izzy Stradlin and Dizzy Reed have not yet been confirmed.
"Everyone has been asking me what's going to happen [at the Hall of Fame]," Slash told Rolling Stone earlier in the week. "And they know as much as I do. I feel you're totally obligated to be present and I would love to f*cking play, but it's just something that's not gonna happen for whatever reason."
Other presenters include Chris Rock (for the Red Hot Chili Peppers) Public Enemy's Chuck D (the Beastie Boys), John Mellencamp (Donovan), Bette Midler (Laura Nyro) and Steven van Zandt (for the Small Faces/Faces).
The Hall of Fame's induction ceremony will be held at Public Hall in Cleveland on April 14; it will be broadcast on HBO on May 5.
