The final autopsy report about the death of Whitney Houston has been released. The updated information revealed that the singer drowned faced down in a tub filled with about a foot of extremely hot water.

Authorities determined that Houston's body was in the water for up to an hour.

The report also describes a "white powdery substance" in the room with other items that could be considered drug paraphernalia - a rolled-up piece of paper, a spoon and a mirror with the same substance on them.

The Los Angeles County coroner had already ruled the death accidental in a finding released in late March. Drowning was listed as the cause of death, with atherosclerotic heart disease and cocaine use noted as contributing factors to the tragedy.

Cocaine, marijuana, Benadryl, Flexeril and Xanax were all found in the singer's system.

Whitney Houston was found dead on February 11, a day before the Grammy Awards. She died at a suite at the Beverly Hilton Hotel.
