The UK's industrial production increased 0.4 percent month-on-month in February, in line with economists' expectations, data from the Office for National Statistics showed Thursday.
Manufacturing production fell 1 percent from a month earlier, while expectations were for a 0.1 percent increase.
Annually, overall industrial output fell 2.3 percent faster than forecast for a 2.1 percent drop. Factory output declined 1.4 percent year-on-year against expectations for a 0.1 percent increase.
