U.S. weekly jobless claims for the week ended March 31 will be released at 8:30 am ET Thursday. Ahead of the report, the greenback showed mixed trading against other major currencies. While the dollar fell against the yen, it advanced against the rest of major currencies.
At 8:25 am ET, the greenback was worth 82.00 against the yen, 0.9208 against the franc, 1.3061 against the euro and 1.5852 against the pound.
