At 8:30 am ET Thursday, Canada's jobs data for March and building permits for February are slated for release. Ahead of the reports, the loonie showed mixed trading against its major counterparts. While the loonie gained against the euro, it fell against the yen and the aussie. Against the greenback, the loonie has come off slightly from an early low.
At 8:25 am ET, the loonie was worth 0.9986 against the greenback, 1.3045 against the euro, 1.2063 against the aussie and 81.15 against the yen.
