Canada's Ivey PMI for March is expected at 10 am ET Thursday. Ahead of the data, the Canadian dollar gained against its major counterparts.
At 9:55 am ET, the loonie was worth 0.9916 against the greenback, 1.2960 against the euro, 1.0224 against the aussie and 83.04 against the yen.
