Snack foods company Golden Enterprises Inc. (GLDC: Quote) reported third-quarter net income of $0.6 million or $0.05 per share, compared to $0.4 million or $0.03 per share last year.
Sales for the quarter rose 1 percent to $34.43 million from $34.09 million in the comparable quarter last year.
Additionally, Golden Enterprises announced a quarterly dividend of $.03125 per share, payable April 25, 2012 to stockholders of record on April 16, 2012.
