AZZ Q4 Profit Rises - Quick Facts

Electrical equipment maker AZZ Incorporated (AZZ) Thursday reported a higher profit for the fourth quarter as revenues rose 23 percent.

The Fort Worth, Texas-based company reported a fourth-quarter net profit of $11.64 million or $0.92 per share, compared to $9.23 million or $0.73 per share last year. On average, four analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expected the company to earn $0.82 per share for the quarter. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

Total revenues for the quarter grew 23 percent to $123.63 million from $100.67 million in the prior-year quarter. Three analysts had a consensus revenue estimate of $122.63 million for the quarter.
