Constellation Software Inc. (CSU.TO) said Thursday that its subsidiary Harris Computer Systems has purchased Cognera Corp. of Calgary, Alberta. The purchase amount was not disclosed.
Cognera provides managed services platform used by competitive commercial retailers for billing and settlement services as well as by municipal customers in Alberta and Ontario for residential billing.
Constellation Software noted that as a result of the purchase, Cognera will become a business unit within the Harris Utilities Group and will continue to focus on providing a high level of customer engagement including industry and regulatory expertise to its customer from its base in Calgary.
