Game has released "Skate On," the first track from his latest mixtape, California Republic. The Pharrell-produced cut features a guest spot by Lupe Fiasco.
"Now, I been rapping for nine years, four months, 45, 46, 47 seconds / I was Dr. Dre's weapon / Had the option to stay and kept swerving / Made some rookie mistakes, but so did Kyrie Irving," Game raps on the reflective track.
"Lupe skates and I thought it would be cool to kind of take that and make it reverse psychology," Game told Rap-Up TV regarding Lupe's spot.
"You know when some bullsh*t's about to jump off and somebody's like, 'Yo, I think we better skate?' It's kinda like that . . . Lupe kicks this 20-bar verse that's like crazy."
Game is currently at work on his fifth full-length LP, FIVE: Fear is Victory's Evolution.
