The Canadian dollar edged up against most major currencies during European trading on Friday. As of now, the loonie is trading near a 2-day high of 83.17 versus the Japanese yen from early Asian session's low of 82.77.
The loonie also showed weakness against the euro and the US dollar in today's European session and currently trading near 1.2963 and 0.9923, respectively.
