Madonna has reached out to Britney Spears, asking her to help recreate their onstage kiss from the 2003 MTV Video Music awards.
The offer arose when Brit complemented Madge's new album, MDNA, on Twitter, "Love the new album - every single song is incredible. congrats girl!"
Madonna wrote back "Please come on stage and kiss me again. I miss you," to which Britney then replied, "Tempting . . ."
Madonna then asked her, "Are you gonna make me work for this?" Britney quipped, "Why of course!"
MDNA debuted atop the Billboard 200 chart, edging out Lionel Richie's country-themed duet LP, Tuskegee.
The Material Girl's new record sold 359,000 copies in its first week, besting the first-week sales of her last LP, 2008's Hard Candy, which sold 280,000.
