Eddie Vedder's 15 city U.S. solo tour has been pushed back for health reasons. The Pearl Jam frontman cited nerve damage to his left arm as the ailment preventing him from going on the road.

Pearl Jam manager Kelly Curtis says that the nerve problems are residual effects of a back injury suffered earlier in the year. Vedder has not been able to return to touring shape despite eight weeks of physical therapy.

"There was hope up until the last minute that the treatments would be successful. Sincerest apologies go out to those who have made plans and bought tickets. Eddie is frustrated beyond measure, but remains positive that come this summer all will be back in good form," Curtis added.

Tour dates, originally set for April through May, have been re-scheduled for November and December; refunds are available on request.
