Blur's Graham Coxon has added some more fuel to the spreading rumor that the British rockers may debut some new material at their special reunion show in London this summer.

The group will reunite for a special performance in Hyde Park to close out the 2012 Summer Olympics and Coxon says there could be "some surprises":

"Mmm, perhaps there might be some surprises. I'm not sure what any of the other people in the group have said. We all say different things and then we all get told 'don't say that' but they said that and getting into trouble," he explained during an interview with BBC Breakfast.

"But yes, there's going to be some surprises. We haven't made much preparations as yet but we've got to start rehearsing soon," he added.

The comment follows a recent interview with frontman Damon Albarn, who contrarily noted that any new songs could be the last for the now part-time Blur:

"I don't really do anything with Blur anymore - there's this concert this year but its not a full time thing at all. Maybe this tune's a last little coda to the whole story."
