According to One Direction member, Niall Horan, the group is working on something with Justin Bieber; Horan announced the news on Twitter on Wednesday, April 4:
"In the studio with our boy @justinbieber last night, it's gona sound great!"
Band member Liam Payne also chimed in:
"Got a first listen to justin biebers new album yesterday wowww big songs!!! Its gunna be a smash… Expect the unexpected."
That message prompted a response from the Bieb: "thanks buddy. good chillin with u guys."
Believe, Bieber's third studio effort, is packed with big names as guests or producers including will.i.am, Usher, Mike Posner, Timbaland, Drake and Pharrell. Unconfirmed spots include Lil Wayne, Ke$ha and Kanye West.
"Boyfriend," the album's lead single, notched 520,000 downloads in its first week.
Believe is due sometime this summer.
