The Musicians Institute Conversations Series will host Corey Taylor and M. Shawn Crahan of Slipknot for a live chat at the MI campus on Monday, April 9 at 6:00 PM PST.

The live event is open only to MI students and alumni, however the general public can follow it live on Facebook, where a select few will be able to ask questions of their own.

Meanwhile, the group has made it known that they will not enter a studio to record until at least 2013.

The band, set to tour Australia this month and North America this summer, has said they do not plan on recording or writing during their touring breaks.

"After that, we'll probably take some time off. It could be a month, it could be a couple of months, maybe even a year," Crahan told Kerrang! in reply to a question about what the band's plans were after they finish their U.S. tour in August.
