"Twilight" star Taylor Lautner is reportedly in talks to join Adam Sandler in the sequel to his 2010 comedy "Grown Ups." According to hollywoodreporter.com, Lautner may appear in a supporting role in which he competes with Sandler.
The site also reports that many of the original film's cast are likely to appear in "Grown Ups 2," including Kevin James, Chris Rock, David Spade, Maya Rudolph and Salma Hayek.
The original film followed a group of childhood friends who reunite after their basketball coach dies. The possible casting comes at a busy time for Lautner, who is currently promoting the release of the final "Twilight" film, which will open in November. He has also been linked to an indie film due out from Gus Van Sant.
