Mcnally Bharat Bags Rs.139.36 Cr. Order

McNally Bharat Engineering Co. Ltd. said it had bagged an order for Rs.139.36 crore from Bharat Heavy Electricals Ltd., or BHEL. For civil, structural and architectural works and balance civil works for boiler auxiliaries foundation for R&M job of Barauni Thermal Power Station-Extension Project unit 8&9 Begusarai, Bihar.

At the BSE, McNally Bharat Engineering shares are currently trading at Rs.97.15, up 2.91 percent from the previous close.

U.S. Weekly Jobless Claims Move Back To The Downside

First-time claims for U.S. unemployment benefits fell by more than expected in the week ended May 18th, according to a report released by the Labor Department on Thursday. The report showed that initial jobless claims fell to 340,000, a decrease of 23,000 from the previous week's revised figure of 363,000.
