Malta's merchandise trade gap for February narrowed from a year ago, the National Statistics Office said Monday.
The visible trade deficit fell to EUR 74.9 million from EUR 205.5 million in the same month last year. Exports increased to EUR 378.1 million from EUR 207.4 million, while imports rose to EUR 452.9 million from EUR 412.9 million.
For the January-February period, trade deficit declined to EUR 178.6 million from EUR 264.4 million last year.
