Two men were arrested early Monday morning in connection with a shooting spree that left three dead and two injured in Tulsa on Friday.
Jake England, 19, and Alvin Watts, 32, were arrested Sunday after police received multiple anonymous tips.
Bail of $3 million was set for each defendant for each of the three first degree murder complaints and $75,000 for the two complaints of shooting with intent to kill.
Those killed were Dannaer Fields, 49, Bobby Clark, 54, and William Allen, 31, all African-American males. The two wounded were also African-Americans.
The NAACP held an emergency press conference in the wake of the violence Friday evening, calling the incidents hate crimes.
Tulsa police and the FBI have not yet used the term "hate crime" to characterize the incident, but the NAACP and others cite Facebook posts by England made just a day before the shootings, blaming his father's death on a black man.
According to local news reports, England's father was shot and killed two years ago during an apparent break-in at his daughter's apartment. The Department of Corrections said the shooter is serving a six-year sentence on a weapons charge.
England and Watts will appear in court again on April 16.
