The West Hollywood Sheriff confirmed actress Amanda Bynes was arrested early Friday morning for driving while intoxicated after she clipped the rear end of a police car.
A source, speaking with the NY Post, said Bynes immediately met with her rep and top L.A. DUI lawyer, Richard Hutton, after her release.
"Amanda and a publicist met criminal defense attorney Richard Hutton at the Polo Lounge," the source told Page Six. "Amanda was exhausted and famished, but wanted to hire an attorney immediately."
"She says she is totally innocent and wanted to know what she is facing."
Last month Bynes was pulled over for talking on her cell phone while driving; she fled before an officer could ticket her but later paid it, reported TMZ.
