Switzerland's unemployment rate remained unchanged at 3.1 percent after adjusting to seasonal variations in March, data released by the State Secretariat for Economic Affairs (SECO) showed Tuesday.
The figure matched economists' forecast. On an unadjusted basis, the unemployment rate fell to 3.2 percent from 3.4 percent in February. Economists had forecast the rate to fall to 3.3 percent.
The number of registered unemployed decreased by 6,762 from the previous month to 126,392 at the end of March. At the same time, the number of registered job-seekers decreased by 3.4 percent from February to 180,912.
