Slovenia's industrial production decreased from last year in February, data released by the Statistical Office of the Republic of Slovenia showed Tuesday.
Industrial output dropped a calendar adjusted 0.4 percent on an annual basis in February. Production in the mining and quarrying sector dropped 7.2 percent annually, while manufacturing production edged down 1.7 percent. Meanwhile, output of electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply climbed 16.6 percent year-on-year during the month.
Month-on-month, industrial production decreased a seasonally adjusted 0.3 percent in February. In the January-February period, production at Slovenian industries increased 0.5 percent from the same period a year earlier, the agency said.
