Jake Owen proposed to his girlfriend, Lacey Buchanan while onstage at the Citrus Bowl at Vero Beach High. During his performance of "Don't Think I Can't Love You," Owen invited Buchanan onstage where he proposed to her:
"You're probably wondering where your ring is, right?" Owen could be heard asking over the speakers.
He then finished the song whereupon the couple embraced and shared a kiss.
"When I was onstage, it just hit me how many of our family members and friends were at the show," Owen told eonline.com "So I thought sharing that moment would mean a lot to everyone."
One concert-goer, speaking with People, said that Owen "seemed to spontaneously decide to bring her out on stage and propose to her."
Later Jake hit Twitter to confirm the good news:
"I'm a happy man. Life is complete."
