Gannett Co. Inc. (GCI) said it appointed David Hunke as chairman of USA Today.
Hunke is currently the president and publisher of USA Today, will retire from Gannett in September end 2012.
Hunke will work on strategic projects for USA Today and help with the transition to new leadership.
