Electronics For Imaging Launches Fiery Dashboard - Quick Facts

Electronics for Imaging Inc. (EFII) said that it launched Fiery Dashboard, a cloud-based service that enables owners and production managers to easily and quickly analyze their operations and make better business decisions. Fiery Dashboard provides 24/7 access to real-time production data from any Internet browser, including mobile phones and tablets.

Fiery Dashboard is available now in English, French, Italian, German and Spanish. A 30-day free trial is available now in the U.S. and Canada, the company said.

Delta Air Lines is allowing some passengers use fingerprints instead of their boarding passes. The pilot program at the Reagan Washington National Airport or DCA will allow members of Delta's SkyMiles loyalty program and enrolled in Clear, a third-party biometric screening program, to use fingerprints as proof of identity to board their plane, the company said in a statement. Oilfield services company Halliburton Co. reported Monday a profit in its second quarter, compared to a hefty loss last year, boosted mainly by strong demand in North America. In pre-market activity on the NYSE, Halliburton shares were gaining 3.9 percent. Shares of Philips Electronics NV were gaining around 4 percent in the early morning trading in Amsterdam after the Dutch consumer electronics giant reported Monday that its second-quarter net income from continuing operations increased with higher sales and orders. Net income, meanwhile, declined with lower income from discontinued operations.
