Mattel Toys have thrown their candidate into the political ring for 2012—the new "Barbie I Can Be… President" doll. The doll, dressed in a red skirt suit is billed as the head of the "B Party" and will be available in toy stores this June.

The presidential Barbie doll will be available in four ethnicities, Caucasian, African American, Asian, and Hispanic, and will have the ability to stand without being held.

In a press release Mattel says she has a look suited to any world leader:

"Just like any world leader or U.S. President, 'Barbie I Can Be… President' stands on her own two feet — literally!" the release says. "In addition to being a fashionable complement to her suit, Barbie doll's pink wedges actually stabilize and allow her to balance on her own without the help of a doll stand for the first time."
