The New Zealand dollar held steady against major rivals after the releasing of Business NZ performance of manufacturing index report for the month of March in early Asian deals on Thursday.
The Business New Zealand reported that the performance of manufacturing index for March stood at 54.5, which was 3.2 points down from February. Compared with previous March results, the 2012 value was up on 2011, but lower than 2010.
As of now, the kiwi is worth 66.20 against the yen, 1.6029 versus the euro, 1.2601 against the Australian dollar and 0.8185 versus the US dollar.
