Slash Hosts BBC Program

Slash has a major media event starting in the U.K. The guitarist has a six-part BBC program that looks at his influences and development.

The program, which runs on U.K. radio starting Thursday, April 12, will consist of six hour-long programs. Slash will present the music of his influences, such bands as AC/DC, Aerosmith and Metallica.

The program runs weekly through May 17 and can be heard in this country on the BBC's website.

Earlier this week, Slash appeared as the musical guest on Jimmy Kimmel Live. Appearing with singer Myles Kennedy and the Conspirators, the guitarist debuted his new single, "You're A Lie." Slash's new album, Apocalyptic Love, is due out on May 22.
