Czech current account surplus rose more than expected in February, data from the central bank showed Thursday.
The surplus amounted to CZK 18.3 billion in February, owing to surpluses on the balances of goods and services and current transfers.
This compares to surpluses of CZK 14.2 billion in January 2012 and CZK 19.2 billion in February last year. Economists expected the February 2012 current account balance to show a surplus of CZK 13 billion.
