Lufthansa Group March Traffic Up 7.7% - Quick Facts

German aviation group Deutsche Lufthansa AG (DLAKY.PK,DLAKF.PK) Thursday reported a 7.7% growth in March traffic to 16.21 billion revenue seat-kilometers compared with last year, with available seat-kilometers rising 3.6% year-over year to 21.12 billion. The pricing environment developed positively.

Passenger load factor for the latest month was 76.8%, up 3.0 percentage points from the earlier year period, as well as the Group's March Cargo Load-factor improved 0.1 points to 69.7%.

Lufthansa Group posted a 5.9% year-on-year improvement in its passengers to 8.17 million.

Electric car maker Tesla's Chief Elon Musk confirmed that there will be no discount on new cars. Through several tweets and an email addressing its employees, Musk said, "It is absolutely vital that we adhere to the no negotiation and no discount policy that has been true since we first started taking orders 10 years ago."
